Children at Busy Bees learn by playing and exploring, being active and through creative and critical thinking which takes place both indoors and outside following the Early Years Foundation Stage Framework.
Through continuous provision the children can freely access all areas of the setting free flowing between indoors and outdoors as much as they wish. During the winter months we visit the Village Hall to provide activities to develop the children’s physical skills through climbing and pedalling bikes and tractors. We walk to the local Parish Woods throughout the year to observe the seasons, growth and change over time. Busy Bees joins school to celebrate festivals in Church such as Harvest, Christmas and Easter. Transitions into school take place in the summer term with visits into Class One to meet the staff and children.
