At Rosley CE School, safeguarding and the health, safety and well-being of all our children is of paramount importance - It is everyone's responsibility.

All of our children have the right to protection, regardless of age, gender, ethnicity or disability. We are committed to establishing a safe physical environment in which children can learn and develop both personally and academically and achieve success.

The Designated Safeguarding Lead is Mrs Joanne Tinniswood

The Deputy Designated Safeguarding Leads are Mr Iain Armstrong and Mrs Elizabeth Edgar

Our safeguarding governor is Mrs Rebecca Bird (chair of governors). The role of the governor is to support the DSL/DDSLs through regular monitoring and challenge to ensure that all our practices and procedures are effective and meet the needs of all our pupils.

If you have a concern about a child or young person please ask to speak to either Mrs Tinniswood, Mr Armstrong or Mrs Edgar. Alternatively, you can take your concern directly to Cumbria Safeguarding Children Partnership - Safeguarding Hub by clicking on the link below:
